Nothing too exciting going on today. Handwriting has gotten a bit worse but my child had several spontaneous sentances that were so appropriate and in context that I was amazed.
Picked this book up today. So far, very interesting.

DOSE 8
Dose 8 worked like a charm. Stims were almost gone, but that only lasted 24 hours. They came right back, just not as bad as before,but still worse than 6 months ago.
Lots of crying for no reason too.

Dose 7
My child asked for a specific song on the ipod. Has never done that before. Also asked for a song heard in a movie recently, that we didn't have on the ipod. Had to downloaded and child was thrilled to hear it. Stims are still 100% worse than before homeopathy so I'm hoping to see relief from those soon

Doses 4-6
Dose #4. Child seems to try harder to speak. Speech comes in 5-8 word phrases and sentances instead of 2 or 3 words. Child answers simple question with a series of 2-3 word phrases, a total of about 30 words. All words were on topic and eye contact was made while child was speaking. Have not seen that much speech at one time again, but 5-8 words is becoming the norm. Child's stims increase dramatically 3 days after dose.
Dose # 5. Stims slowly decrease. Child continues to try to speak more, wants to speak more. Opens mouth and breathes through mouth while thinking of what to say. Processing is slow but the new open mouth breathing while trying to make words is new. That is now our sign to not interrupt, not speak until something is said. We know something is coming, child just needs time to put words together than speak. Again, stims increase after several days of dosing.
Dose # 6. Child is seeking out parents company and attention more, except for bedtime when it is very clear child wants to be alone. "MOMMY GO AWAY" is what is heard the second the blanket is pulled up. Child begins trying to dress self. Not yet paying close enough attention to keep things from being on backwards, but a step in the right direction. Child also forms attachment to 2 stuffed animals for the first time. They MUST be there at bedtime. When we started watching a movie, child ran to room, got the 2 stuffed animals, and put them on the couch next to us to watch.

First 3 doses of homeopathic remedy
Child has Dose #1. No apparent changes in autistic behaviors/symptoms. Child's bowel movements get soft, and child has 8-10 movements in one day. This was followed by 2 days of no BM's, then all returned to normal.
Child has Dose # 2. Slight increase in eye contact. Child is more emotional than usual. Seems to pay more attention, more effort to hear/listen to us as we speak.
Child has Dose # 3. No changes noticeable with dose, but stims dramatically increase 3 days after dose.
